Together with my colleagues in the faculty, Assoc. Prof. Ashraf Fahmy, Dr. Mohamed Ghareeb, Dr. Omar Saad and Dr. Mohsen El-Noby I have the pleasure to welcome you all to the Department of Petroleum Engineering in its new building.
Our main mission is to :

Supply the upstream section of the petroleum industry with well-qualified petroleum engineering graduates, not only knowledgeable in academic petroleum engineering but also well trained in its practical application. In fact, this major mission items is supported by the following:

The faculty members are highly qualified in practical skills since most of them have tens of years of practical experience in different petroleum companies.

A well-organized curriculum program, consisting of almost all applied petroleum engineering and science. The curriculum is supported by the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) and Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA.

Activate the scientific cooperation through international firms of petroleum industries.

Establish new cooperation protocol with the services companies in Egypt in order to provide better and longer time practical training on new technologies and their practical applications.

Complete in construction of the scientific laboratories in order to augment the practical skills of students.
In completing the aforementioned programs, the Petroleum Engineering graduates will be obtaining BSc degrees in Petroleum Engineering that are accredited by both FUE and our partner Missouri University.
