Aims to build the student’s knowledge and skills, both theoretical and practical, to contribute to building and creating innovative solutions for the modern infrastructure of Egypt and abroad, especially in the fields of electronics, computers, and the communication industry. Communication and Computer engineers work at the frontiers of high-profile technologies; they use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools to create, research, design, and manufacture new devices that change the world.
Unique Fields of study
In recent years, there has been an admirable push to electronics and communication engineers to get more into learning computer hardware and programming. So, the old Communication and Electronics program has been developed and adapted for such purpose. In this new program, Communication and Computer engineering fields cover a broad spectrum of topics and areas, including microelectronic systems, communication systems, signal processing, photonics and fiber optics, antenna design, and robotics, solar cells and devices, multimedia systems, microprocessors design and memory systems, networks, artificial intelligence, the Internet, chip design, computer organization, design, and programming. Distinguished students can accomplish their graduation requirements in four years, while regular students can finish in five years.
Our Graduates are working in top notch research facilities and industries including Apple, Valeo, Schneider, Vodafone, Amazon Web Services, Mulesoft, Qualcom, DELL, and more
State-of-the-Art Facilities
CCE program is equipped with modern laboratories to provide the students with the required laboratory skills needed in their engineering profession. The ability to build and evaluate electronic systems equipment is essential for most jobs in Communication and Computer Engineering. All the laboratories are designed to enrich students' methodical approach in collecting and analyzing data and emphasize the appropriate presentation of the results. The available labs include, and not limited to:
- Analog and Digital Communications Lab
- Advanced Electronics and VLSI Lab
- Microwave and Antenna Lab
- Measurements and Instrumentations Lab
- Projects Lab
- Optical Fiber Lab
- Electronics and Communication Research Lab
- Microprocessors, Microcontrollers and Embedded systems Lab
Student Activities
There are a number of extra-curricular activities that students can get involved in outside of their degree to enhance skills, knowledge and overall experience. The Future University student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE_FUE), Women in Engineering (WIE) group and Robotic Club (Roboclub) aim to promote the career opportunities and to raise awareness and enhance the skills of new developments in the field among communication and computer engineering students by managing events among students, faculty, and industry.
