CIS provides students with professionally relevant degrees to help graduates secure employment in a highly skilled Computing and Engineering sector. Intelligent Systems engineering deals with systems and machines with intelligence; Advanced machines that perceive and respond to the world around them.
All industries, including finance, consulting, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government, and education, have a high demand for AI skill sets. As a CIS graduate, you will be well-positioned to progress into a wide range of careers, from large, well-established businesses to cutting-edge technology start-ups, with opportunities in large corporations, such as financial services companies, consumer retail companies, small and medium-sized businesses, or the public sector.
Fields of Study
Computer and Intelligent Systems engineering covers a broad spectrum of topics and areas, including: programming, data structures, algorithms, pattern recognition, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Distinguished students can accomplish their graduation requirements in four years, while regular students can finish in five years.
Graduates from similar programs are working in top notch research facilities and industries including Apple, Valeo, Schneider, Vodafone, Amazon Web Services, Mulesoft, Qualcom, DELL, and more
State-of-the-Art Facilities
CIS program is equipped with modern laboratories to provide the students with the required laboratory skills needed in their engineering profession. All the laboratories are designed to enrich students' methodical approach in collecting and analyzing data and emphasize the appropriate presentation of the results. The available labs include, and not limited to:
- Advanced Electronics and VLSI Lab
- Measurements and Instrumentations Lab
- Projects Lab
- Microprocessors, Microcontrollers and Embedded systems Lab
- GPU lab
- Computers Laboratories
Student Activities
There are a number of extra-curricular activities that students can get involved in outside of their degree to enhance skills, knowledge and overall experience. The Future University student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE_FUE), Women in Engineering (WIE) group and Robotic Club (Roboclub) aim to promote the career opportunities and to raise awareness and enhance the skills of new developments in the field among computer engineering students by managing events among students, faculty, and industry.
