The mechanical power engineering Program is a 5-year, 164 credit hours program that enables the graduation of outstanding mechanical power engineers who are capable of competing nationally and regionally and well acquainted with the job market professionally and ethically. However, outstanding students have the chance of completing the program in 4 academic years. The Program equips students for their career by providing sufficient knowledge in several areas such as Thermal-Fluid Sciences, Energy Sciences, Combustion Science, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Machines Mechanical Power Systems Control, Industrial Applications of Thermal Power Systems, Water Desalination Technologies and Hybrid Electric Vehicles Technologies. This knowledge is backed up by state-of-the art laboratories which enables the students to apply what they learn in the lecture practically in the laboratories.
