Program Objectives

The educational objectives for the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering program are:

Graduates of the program have the ability to create innovative solutions to problems in the life sciences and clinical applications such as medicine, dentistry, nursing, and physical therapy.
Graduates of the program who enter the work force have the ability to succeed by:
- Being a productive member of an engineering team
- Demonstrating individual technical capability
- Developing a new biomedical device or process
- Generating high quality technical documentation
