On the recommendations to help the EE students to achieve the required training hours, the Department of Electrical Engineering organizes 80-hours summer internships for the third-year students. The training program composed of three main parts:
1. The theoretical part: which includes introductory and awareness lectures such as safety and security, job opportunities for graduates of electrical engineering, radar applications, ...
2. Practical part: which includes an explanation and practical application and small projects in topics: design of power supply, design and implementation of printed circuit boards, programming using MATLAB, programmable integrated circuits (FPGA), Arduino control circuits.
3. Field visit.
At the end of the training period, the students submit a short report then awarded a certificate of completion.
